Ash turned and nearly reached for a Poke ball, before remembering that he'd not only promised Gengar he wouldn't try to catch him, but that he also had no Poke balls at all. So instead, he managed a sheepish grin and a wave. "Hi."

Gengar giggled a little as he walked over. "Nice to meet you," he chuckled, stiffling his laughter. "I'm Gengar." The little Pokemon--although not all that little compared to the boy--offered a claw, as if to shake hands.
