[Redglare notices the troll girl from her first day in the Tower nodding off over a book and decides to assist her in not falling asleep in such a vulnerable position.

She does this, naturally, by approaching from behind.]

Hello again.

[her tone is calm and non-threatening. it would be no fun to sound amused, after all.]

[Kanaya jolts a bit, she was in that state in between sleep and consciousness, so the smallest of sounds caused her to fully wake up.]

Oh! [she rubs her eyes a bit] Hello again to you as well. Have you been, well not enjoying your stay here but at least finding it somewhat interesting?

[forcingrins]

[Redglare moves to take a seat nearby, mindful of her injuries that remain from the latest Tower experience.]

Interesting is certainly one way to put it.

[She sees that Redglare is moving gingerly]

[Aradia wasn't really used to being around large bodies of water - on Alternia, for one of her status to have ventured near the ocean would have been suicide. But here in the tower, with the pool right there, she figured now was a good a time as any to start - especially since she couldn't really die permanently, not from drowning at least.

When she got there, however, she saw a familiar figure and made her way over, original plan put aside for now]

Kanaya! I didn't know you were here.

[Kanaya looks up from the water]

Aradia! You are back again. You've been here before but if you didn't know that I was here then I assume you were sent back again. I have been in this tower the longest out of the trolls, people seem to come and go.

[She smiles]

Yes, I came back or so people keep telling me. I don't remember even being here...but it's not the strangest thing to have happened, all things considered.

How long have you been here?

Considering we destroyed our world and created another via a computer game, I don't think being trapped in a tower is all that odd, even in your case where you've been in and out with no memories each time you return. Odder things have happened here and will most likely happen again. [she looks out at the water]

In human terms it has been six months, so about a quarter of a sweep. It seems like so much longer though.

[It was easy to spot Kanaya, although seeing her acting in such a manner was somewhat worrying for Alice. With her own tray of food, she calmly approached the troll.]

May I join you, Kanaya?

[Kanaya looks up from her food]

Alice, yes, please join me. [she offers a small smile] How are you?

[Alice actually manages a smile in response as she sits next to Kanaya.]

As well as can be, all things considered. Additionally, I find myself relieved that the most recent fiasco has come to an end.

The thing that you are relieved about is the same thing that is troubling me. [she pushes more of her food around]

[Suzaku sat down in a free place and nodded politely at the troll girl across from him. She didn't look very happy]

Is everything alright?

[She looks up at him startled, she hadn't noticed him sit down]

I'm worried that something horrible is going to happen soon.

[Suzaku nodded, he worried something horrible was going to happen all the time. It had been proved to be the rule here, rather than the exception]

Is there something specific that makes you think that?

A pattern, one that is just emerging. First there was the phantoms, it was bad but survivable. Second was the surgeries, which was horrible. Lastly was the doors to our nightmare worlds, again something bad but survivable. I feel like something horrible is going to happen again.
