(no subject)
ok. so i have been searching for the past two hours trying to find my favorite christmas song. i could hear it in my head, and i knew it had been in movies before. but i didn't know what it was called or who it was by. so i googled the few lyrics that i knew...found out it was "carol of the bells". so i went on iTunes and searched it. yeah, there were tons of versions. so i listened to every single one. there were a lot of them! nothing. a couple that were similar, but not it. googled again to see if there was another name..."ukranian carol." ok. tried that. nothing. now i'm frustrated. i knew it was sorta 'rock-ish' and i knew the trans siberian orchestra was just that. sooo i google them with carol of the bells. basically nothing. somehow, i end up at this website talking about how they used to be called 'savatage'. so i search for them on iTunes. listen to a few songs with different names. nothing. finally, like, the very last song on the list by them. "christmas eve". that was it. mom was like 'no, that's a different song! that's not carol of the bells!' i was like, i know! it like, starts with that...then slows down, and all of a sudden BOOM carol of the bells. took a risk and bought it. it was it!!!!! i was sooooo excited! 2 hours, and now i have it!!! hooray. my christmas music mood is now complete. i can go to bed happy now :)
