Decision Has Been Made

Okay, so I'm behind on NaNo count.  So what?  The cool thing is that I've got a solid first three chapters, chapter four is turning out effing awesome (I love my undead rat right now, the poor little thing), and I've only got another 7000 words before I catch up with y'all.  Just need to stop slacking off and I can MAYBE bust that out tonight ( Read more... )

Oh yes, please link me up with the new one. That sounds relevant to my interests! In fact, this one will be less relevant to my interests because I don't know those communities...

So count me in, yes!

I have heard people advertising BF before... *strokes chin* I have taken all of your recommendations into consideration.

Right now this is kind of my writing plan: With homework and school, I won't have the time to really sit down and start writing my novel until summer break. (My mom convinced me of this one night when I was stressing over trying to start writing the prologue of my novel in the forty-five minutes I had before bed after doing homework.) So this school year original-writing wise I plan to just be doing plot/character development, so I'll be ready to really get started next summer. In the meantime I figure I'll try to focus on getting stuff done in the other writing sphere that I want to get done, which includes hypothetically wrapping up certain projects... (which is a source of stress too since there are other things I'd rather be doing ( ... )

*nods* Yes, definitely do your schoolwork first and worry about that over ANY writing projects you have going -- even the other stuff that I am most eager for you to complete.

The thing about BF is that each contest is a weekly one with a different prompt. It's a LOT less stressful and actually could work with your writing plans for this year, if you're looking for something to do.

Oooo, that idea from your Writer's Guild sounds awesome! Stealing that for a nanoinflames chat. Possibly the Tuesday one, because I think I'm gonna do a Weekly Check-In on Monday for word count, how the projects are going, etc. Thanks for sharing that one, MP!

And that, pele, is why I less than three you the most.

Can they be those fancy mimosas we discussed not too long ago? I'd really like some fancy mimosas. I'll even make you french toast in exchange.

Can I come? *wibbles* Mimosas...french toast.

All I can bring to the table is crepes.

Crepes are an acceptible bribe. Welcome to our breakfast club. This is pele. She's a tart, but she's a wonderful tart.

Actually... you two should really chat. She does Ren Fairs and such like you do. I don't know WHY it didn't occur to me to introduce you two sooner.
