First time back in the contest in a very long time ... and it shows. Not my best writing, AND the prompt is a bit of a stretch.

Wow, this is really good. You made Boots really vivid as a character, and I could totally see him and his actions. Seems like a friendship of opposites, which can be awesome.

This is absolutely delightful! I love the way your characters really come to life and I can’t wait to read more about them and their adventures (whether real or made up)!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the characters. They get into a lot of mischief, some of which gets exaggerated in the retelling... but, hey, that's how storytelling goes. *grins*
