The Revolution Keeps Spinning

Mar 30, 2005 05:59

Hello Everyone! I'm soo sorry for not updating in soo long. But I have finally come back and I have plenty to say and a lot of pictures. This is a long entry . . read as much as you can and look at the pictures if you want. Anyway, here goes:

My grandmother told my father I was gay. Surprisingly, the world didn't end. He accepted me as well. The "Outing Revolution" continues to spin. I found out like two weeks ago when I just had come over from sleeping at Lubos' house. I was in the kitchen and then my grandmother told me the whole story. I won't go into large detail but basicaly she told me that when I had left for Lubos' house, in the morning he asked for me and she covered for me by saying that I was at my mother's house. He reluctantly believed her, but then she spontaneously asked him what he would do if he had a homosexual son. His response was "I would have to accept him because that's the way god sent him to me." She told me she was surprised by his response. Then she asked him to promise not to tell anyone, and then told him I was gay. She also told him about Lubos and all the other things I had told her when she found out I was gay. My grandmother told me that he took it calmly. Anyway, maybe after two days of him knowing, he spoke to me about it. He asked me if I liked girls and I told him no. Then he asked me these other questions like "who is the guy and the girl in your relationship? Why did you choose this kind of lifestyle?" etc. etc. but he didn't do it in this angry voice. He did it in this very calm, caring, curious voice. He was very curious to know "Why?" and so I told him as best I could. I corrected some of his misconceptions like how there is no "boy or girl" in a gay male relationship (both are the boys), how you DON'T choose a gay lifestyle because you are born gay, etc. etc. and he was very calm about it. He told me that I would always be his son no matter what, he respects my "choices" and beliefs and that he would protect me from harassment. To me this was extremely surprising. I thought my father would kick me out of the house, would kill me or do among other really bad things but in the end he didn't. My plan didn't go well. My mom was suppose to know first! But as it turns out my grandmother and father found out first.

Today is my 5 month anniversary with Lubos! Congratulations to us! It's been a great 5 happy months and I hope we last a long, long time. I'll tell you all what we did Sunday . . Ok, On Sunday, we went to visit his mother at this place where they were celebrating Easter in Astoria. He went to ask her for money and to show up for his boss because Lubos said he would show up. Anyway, after that we went to pig out and then we went to his house. There we just had to wait till it became late so I could sneak him into my house. While we waited, we ate some snacks, we slept, we talked and did "other things" *coughs coughs* . . . Anyway, on my journey to my home we had a lot of fun. We did a few minor but illegal acts of crime. In Elmhurts subway station we both went through one turnstile and ended up paying one subway fare instead of two. If caught we could have been fined from $50-100 . . . then we sat at the edge of the subway platform! This was very dangerous, but thrilling! If caught we could have been fined or if we didn't see the train coming our legs could've been cut off! Then we peed in public . . . . I swear I couldn't hold it anymore . . if caught we could have been fined heavily. After that we really didn't break anymore laws but we did something considered taboo outside Manhattan . . . we held hands. Yep, two gay guys holding hands from Union Turnpike station all the way to my house in Richmond Hill. We didn't want to go all the way to Jamaica Center and then take the J train (it takes soo long that late) so we decided to get off at Union Turnpike and walk from there to my house. We went through forest park and it was very peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful and liberating experience. It was raining too! And you know how much I love the rain! So yeah . . two gay guys walking through forest park at night holding hands from Union Turnpike to Richmond Hill . . aren't we two little brave boys! It was a wonderful night indeed.

I have good news about school. I didn't fail any of classes! When I got my report card, I expected to two C's and two F's but NO! I passed all my classes. It's mind bloggling because I BARELY WENT TO SCHOOL . . . I've been cutting so much. I expected to pass only two out of my four classes but no! I passed them all, even journalism who I only went for 5 days the whole semester. So here are my grades, I got a C for AP English, a C for AP Economics/Government, a B for Global Issues and a D for Journalism. Yes, its still a bad report card but I'm lucky! I think what saved me again was my test grades. I have the best test grades. I mean I'm usually a good student who gets mostly A's and B's but its senior year and senioritis has a huge grip on me so I really don't care about school at the moment. But I show up for tests and I usually get 90s and 100s . . specially for AP English and AP Economics/Government because I know the subjects like the palm of my hand. So yeah, the tests saved me big time once again. I mean for English, I barely did any classwork or homework and for Economics I didn't do three major projects or classwork/homework so yah . . the tests saved me. Anyway, my school situation is still the same. I Barely go, and when I do I go I only go for AP Economics/Government, AP English and Global Issues. I don't go for Service, Journalism or Lunch. Although the whole situation is improving a little, I'm still not the old gung-ho scholastic Emerson of the previous semesters. Other than that, I have no more school news! Oh! Wait I do. There is this Scholarship in my school for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender and I entered it. You had to write an essay of more than 500 words about a GLBT issues in the US or a personal experience dealing with a GLBT issue in the US. I wrote a 1,500 word essay about same-sex marriages (I know, I know cleshay!). The guy who recommended me for the scholarship was Mr. Walsh, a gay teacher at my school. He said that I have an outstanding reputation at the Social Studies Department! The Assistant Principal of the Social Studies Department said that I was THE BEST STUDENT she ever had! Haahaha! That's soo cool! I was soo flattered. Other teachers also held me high in their "good student list" like old Psycology Teacher, My European Hisory teacher and my Government teacher. I kind of felt bad since I haven't been upholding that reputation lately. Mr. Walsh also told me that the Social Studies department is concerned about me because of my absences. But I told him everything would be okay soon (I doubt it) . . so yah thats all my school news.

Operation Add Me went extremely well. My friends list grew threefold. But stupid me hasn't been keeping up with my new friends. I commented once on MOST of the new journals I got on my friends list. I missed like four or five but I'll get those later today. I'll comment on everyone again by Sunday. I'm sorry I have been soo lazy. >.< I shall be updating smaller and more frequently soon.

Other than that, everything else is fine. I've only been hanging out with Johanna and Lubos. We three have done a lot of fun stuff. I have many, many pictures. Yep, so i'm just gonna post quick little sentence updates on everything else. My grandma is fine, but she has been nagging me and getting on my nerves. My father has been same old. Champion is still alive. I have to call my mother soon and I think that's it.

Well onto the pictures. Most of these pictures were taken by Johanna, Lubos and I at Johanna's house. But some were taken by me in my house. Enjoy:

This is Lubos' Chest. We were bored so I decided to write on it. For those of you that don't understand my horrible writing . . the upper part says "I Love You" and the bottom part says "This land (it should have been flesh) will be claimed in the name of Emerson."

Another picture of Lubos' chest.

This is Lubos and Me. *sighs*

Lubos and Me again . . .

Lubos and Johanna's Gorilla . . . I forgot the gorillas name >.
Lubos and I kissing. :-D

Lubos licking my cheek. :-D

The Lollypop that Lubos is feeding me is an authentic candy from the Dominican Republic. Those "exotic candies" as I call them (because they are sooo good) make me sooo happy because they are simply delicious.

*cough cough* Lubos wants some of the candy too . .

Me and The Gorilla . . .

I ALWAYS make fun of this famous, famous FAMOUS national geographic picture. I just love it so much!

And I finished that damn good lollypop . . .

:-D

Arrg! Matey! Look at me with Johanna's bandana . . .

Me trying to imitate Bollywood faces . . . .

I'm not very good at it . . .

Me playing with Johanna's sword . .

I'm not sure if i'm holding the sword this time . . .

Me just being BLAH . . .

Champion was angry at Lubos for not gving him the toy. -_-

Johanna took this picture not so long ago when she got her laptop. That's me (and my bad hair day) and her laptop.

This is a picture from one of my communities. It's Aishwarya Rai and the Taj Mahal . . under was a caption that said "Which one is more beautiful?" . . .

AND FINALLY . . . THIS IS MARTHA STEWART . . . I think most of you know who she is. I am not afraid to say that I LOVE MARTHA STEWART! Yep thats right! I LOVE MARTHA STEWART! I don't know why but I do. She is like the motherly figure I never had . . . she is soo cool . . I don't know really . . but I think she is really cool. I know most of you must disagree with me but again I love that woman! Hahahaha! No seriously . . .

Well that is all for now. I Hope you all enjoyed my entry. Till next time. Take care all. :-D
