I want to do my own baby book for Cannon, but I am not sure what is all suppose to go in it. Can someone tell me what I need to include? I don't want to miss anything.
mine has *baby stats height weight time of birth etc *what mommy and daddys first thoughts were when they first saw the baby *family tree (grandparents etc) *first step first rolling over first crawl first word then a vaccination history dental history spot for holiday celebrations like 1st christmas etc spot for 1st birthday and ones also for up to the age of 5 current events what was popular the year they were born how much stuff cost like a stamp milk bread etc info of how they were put to sleep favorite toy favorite song to be sung etc room for birth certificate and birth announcement oh and the first 2 pages are about the parents like moms likes and hates where they went to school any bros and sisters stuff like that
I have a baby book that has all the questions in it, like all the firsts and letters from mom and dad, etc.
I also did a scrapbook where I use pictures, notes, little nic-names and sayings, a copy of his birth announcement. I also included pictures of his nursery so he can see what it looked like when he is older. (There have been studies done on how babies nursery's effect them as they grow up. i.e. If you decorate a boys room with baseballs they will inevitably like baseball, etc)
I also keep a small book that I write little things in about him, like milestones, the way he smells, little ways his personality shows. Just something he might like to read when he is all grown up. This is the one I write in the most because it is so small that I keep it in the pocket of his glider and just jot things down when I think of it.
ALSO (lol) I keep a record of how much he weighs at each doc's visit and how tall he was. See, I have a really bad memory so I want to make sure I remember all this stuff! Hope this helps!
