Damn it, damn it. I am having painful contractions again. 2-4 minutes apart. After three bottles of water, laying of my left, and emptying my bladder. What can I do to make them stop?

you could try relaxing in a warm bath.
if they don't stop after that,i'd call your doctor

Ditto the soaking. Also, sometimes when my left side doesn't work, my right side will. Which is contradictory to what they tell you to do but it works. So yeah.

Mine were JUST like that, but they eventually eased up. Sometimes they would be like that for days but I never felt worried. But if YOU are worried, call you doctor.
