I used to enjoy the old Xmen but all the tangents drove me crazy. I enjoyed Elementals when they started. I also used to enjoy Batman, but the darker stuff. II enjoyed Azrael but eventually he just got too whiny. I enjoyed Deadpool for a while but it got really crazy, and I thought Grendel was a good concept but they went too futuristic. My absolute favorite was definitely Last of the Vikings Heroes but it only lasted 12 issues. I enjoyed Hitman but that stopped after 61 issues. Poison Elves was excellent but when Hayes got sick the comic took a dive. Darkness is still pretty good. I don't normally like futuristic but I thoroughly enjoyed GrimJack (like a darker Judge Dredd but more like a PI or mercenary than cop). Lately I've read 100 bullets but wasn't into as much as others. I also am checking out the Goon (how appropriate for me...maybe we'll see). I've been searching for 2-3 good titles I could enjoy regularly. That's where my friend and his shop come in. He really has been helping me find something to my taste. ( ... )
