Pfff, all you have to do is go around Europe a bit and you'll find a shitload of good metal bands that are starting out.

This just proves that you have never even listened to one single actual metal band, what you're talking about is screamo-metal as I like to call it, and most metalheads don't like that bullshit either, now lets take Sabbath for example, good lyrics, and fucking awesome guitar playing.

As far as new metal bands go, there are lots, mostly you can find them in Europe because American bands seem to be in to punk which is for pussies and mamas-boys mostly.
