Neko Devil O! world
In this world, the world we live in, primates are the "dominant" animals. Look at us; we're monkeys. What if it turned out some other way in maybe some other dimension? What if cats ruled the world in another dimension? Rabbits? Birds?
Hiro was a pretty ordinary guy. Not particularly responsible, or heroic, or anything main characters ought to be. Maybe he'd have been stronger if he'd had to protect his childhood friend and neighbour from bullies rather than having it the other way round - but in any case, he was ordinary, and lived an ordinary life.
Until he saved the life of a cat.
