Because of its greater resistivity, aluminum wiring requires larger conductors than copper. For instance, instead of 14 AWG (American wire gauge) for most lighting circuits, aluminum wiring would be 12 AWG on a typical 15 ampere circuit, though local building codes may vary

They tried aluminum wiring in homes in the 1970's and failed. They are trying again. The problem has not changed yet they think they are being smarter about it.

A SmartCar or ATV is an all weather motorcycle without the advantages of being a motorcycle. Not selling well I hear.
