last night sharon and i were driving around natick, feeling nostalgic for our wellesley years and brainstorming about centerpieces, when we realized that we do our best thinking in the car. my explanation for that is that we are not able to hop on the net whilst driving. i swear, as much as i love and am addicted to the internet, the thing is ( Read more... )

I think you're onto something about the computer seeming too much like work, T...I remember feeling similarly at Wellesley, when I felt like I was on the computer so much writing papers and doing other unpleasant work-type things that I never wanted to sit down at the computer and write email or just surf around, because it felt too work-like. But now, we don't really use our computers for school that much, so the computer seems like much more of a fun thing to me - or more innocuous, at least. So, while I guess not using your computer for work any more might not solve the problem of your being attached to it in your leisure time, it might at least remove some of the associated loathing..

Hi. I did a search for kc clifford on livejournal interests and found your name. You are referring to the singer, right? It's so rare to find anyone who knows her music.

This is really weird because I was just in Natick last night because a friend's mom died. I'm originally from Oklahoma but go to Smith college.

Any reply would be greatly appreciated, even if it's to say you don't want to talk to me.
