I know how you feel... Senior year just kind of sucks. Towards the end, it's like it's pointless. Just a number of days between you and your dreams. And then add in the stuff you have to do before college... The financial aid applications, the college paperwork to send in, keeping grades up so you don't have to take final exams, working to save money for college, planning things like graduation trips and parties, spending time with the family you'll be leaving soon, and trying to catch up with the friends you may never see again. I can't seem to really get anything accomplished without having to sacrifice time from something I truly enjoy. (I.E., time away from band and my friends/family.) I don't want to go away to school just yet... Especially since I know I'll be almost 100% on my own. No parents to support me anymore. I'll be splitting an apartment of my own, and paying all my own bills. Adios teenage freedom, hello reality. I just wish it was band camp again... I wish I was standing on the field at attention, getting sunburned
