Damn it. It was about her time; dwarf hamsters don't have a very long life span. I've been expecting it for the past few months. But I loved her, damn it. I haven't been a very good hamster-daddy in the past six months. I used to let her out to run around in her hamsterball, or in an open area I corralled off and set up some of her toys in.

*hugs you* Like you said, dwarf hampsters don't have a very long lifespan. Don't feel guilty! I'm sorry for your loss though. =( And I hope the getting off early from work thing works out! You could always use the excuse your hampster died. Worked for me in Junior Kindergarden!

Oh sweetie. Im so sorry. I know how much you loved her and it was so cute hearing you talk about her. Im sure if there is any justice she is up in hamster heaven chewing on yogies treats and having her own massive wheel.
