My mother called today.

It seems I have a half brother. How's THAT for out of the blue?

For a few days, a few weeks, something like that, I'm going to be away. I'm a bit of an emotional wreck right now, and I think I need some isolated time to myself for reflection and all that.

I'll be back, though.
