i know i haven't been living the way that i'm supposed to for almost a year now, but i thought i would offer you some advice, take it for what you thinks it's worth...

you can't always do everything in your own strength. you have to rely on God to give you the courage and the will to fight your temptations. once my pastor gave a sermon and said that you have to reach the point where you give up on yourself, you give up and say 'i can't do this', and that's where God will come in and say 'but i can".

that sermon really helped me alot and i just thought that it might be able to help you too. good luck jimbo.
