It's a tribute to just how determined life is on this planet. The trees literally grow in tiny cracks in the rocks, squeezing their roots into the cracks that are caused by the freezing and thawing cycle. Actually, the action of their roots causes much of the erosion that is seen in these areas.

Fabulous job with the pictures!!!

Thanks. I have a lot of landscape pictures, it goes with traveling. I'm reading more on macro photography and digital editing. So maybe I'll have something different to post.
