If I remember, the injection will help them trace out the nearly lymph nodes so that they know where they will need to remove lymph nodes if the cancers cells are too close. My mom had that for her skin cancer, they ended up removing lymph nodes under her arm pit. Same with them on my husband's thyroid. The lymphatic is hard to see in surgery otherwise.

Sounds like it will be a long day. But hey, congrats on the breast reduction along with the surgery lol ;)

Well I'm alive. Breast hurt, but not a lot. Most of yesterday didn't go right. My surgery was suppose to be at 5PM, didn't happen until 8PM. I didn't get out of recovery until 1AM. Loads of fun. I'm still at St. Joes, Sam is coming to get me later.

So by this afternoon I should be home.
