Nothing like clinical depression to get me writing more.

Current treatments:
  • Bupropion SR 150 MG 1/pd (serotonin enhancer. Also supposed to help me cut out the second "prescription" below)
  • Clonazepam 15(?) MG 2/pd (actually a half one during the day, tends to make me bump into things, awesome for sleep though)
  • Nicotine, appx. 1.5 mg, 5-7/pd (this ( Read more... )

i've found buproprion (welbutrin) to be a wonderful help! i hope it continues to work well for you. my happiness cocktail included it with sertraline (aka zoloft) and topirimate (topomax) and clonazapam (.5 mg) as needed. The amounts have varied over the past 5-10 years (and so have the meds) and in the past couple years i've finally consistently started decreasing them. it's really only been in the last 2 years that i saw a real possibility of living without meds, but i've also been aware of the great assistance they've given me--i wouldn't be where i am without them. a month ago at my last doc appt, my doc agreed to let me decrease my zoloft to half and stop taking the buproprion. i fully believe that the meditation/prayer and other steps i've taken in my life toward positive change are what have allowed me to do that ( ... )
