[NVC] Ease and comfort

I've been doing a lot of thinking about my need for ease and comfort, in the NVC sense. Like the need for (non-physical) safety, I have become suspicious of this need, thinking it conceals something else.

A further thought: what is being defended when "ease" is attacked is simply the sleep of reason--our "right" to select what we regard as real or not. Since this cuts at a sense of reality, it makes sense to have a very powerful reaction.

I wasn't focusing on revenge, however, your tangent is very illuminating, it shows to me another way a "need for comfort" may have other stuff shouting for attention under the surface.
