After over 15 years messing with desktop Linux, I finally got tired of fiddling drivers and got a Mac Mini. Good decision.

I'm more surprised to hear you're playing WoW. I used to play 20-30 hours a week (wistfully sigh and remember having time). It was violent enough to bother me, sometimes. Blizzard's design team, though, is second to none, and they keep making stuff run better.

1) Setting up Apple stuff on non-approved hardware seems a lot like setting up a Linux system.
2) I predict that Apple will look the other way on Hackintosh use for a few years and then put hooks in the operating system to shut down unapproved servers.
I'll admit they're both weak arguments. First, there's some very well-documented hardware bases for Hackintoshes. The only one I can think of offhand is the MSI Wind, but I'll bet there's others.
Second, I'll need a new computer before Apple decides it's time to change their marketing strategy.
