The Butterfly Effect

Today I watched The Butterfly Effect and I liked it a lot. It's kinda crazy and weird but that seems to be the type of movie that is always my favorite (Vanilla Sky, 21 Grams, etc). There is a strong message in the movie about self sacrifice in order to contribute to the ultimate happiness of others, sort of similar to Donnie Darko I guess.

I've been hearing such good things about this movie... Some guy was telling me about it last night in fact. Now I'm eager as hell to see it and I hear that Ashton is actually pretty good in the movie, which I thought would have been quite the oppposite. I'm glad to know there is a directors cut, because I'll probably search for that version now. I'll let ya know what I thought of it when I see it.
