I got the book-on-CD for my drive up to Angels Camp last weekend and was apparently so engrossed that I managed to get lost but still end up in the right town, just the wrong end of it. However, it's such a weird and convoluted story that I stopped listening once I got back home. But but but... but what happened? and WHY??!? I cheated and looked up

I saw the movie! At Tara's suggestion. It was awesome, but very "wtf?" the whole way through.

I kind of want to see the movie now. It'll quickly fill in the blanks the summary left behind, but it's such a weird book I'm not sure if I want to see how someone else interpreted it. Assuming the film is true to the page...

I started to watch the movie, but it was boring and seemed very Matrixy with stupid Neo, and I turned it off. I have a low tolerance lol
