On account of I am procrastinating on my homework and I feel the need to tell you about my life, I have decided to make an official update.
City semi-finals are at the LA Memorial Pool at 2:30 on Wednesday May 18. I'll be swimming 2 events: 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay.
City Finals are same place and time but on Wednesday May 25. I'll most likely have 3 events: 200 free, 500 free, and the 400 free relay.
Last Friday, Maya, Cassie, Abra, Kirsten, and I went to McDonald's and then they all came to my house where they read my story. Most of you should know I'm going to be a writer when I grow up, and on my spare time I write short stories, such as The Mosquito. So they read my new story: Mr. Coleman and the Opossum. I think they liked it. If you are interested in reading a story of mine, contact me and I'll give you a copy. You'll laugh cause they're funny stories. Kirsten stayed for dinner along with my sister's friend Emily Bogner, who, because Emily Bogner (gotta say the whole name) got on our nervesand called me Stacy, we dubbed Ugly Booger. After dinner, Kirsten, Emily Bogner/Ugly Booger, Liza (my sister), and I decided to decorate our old shoes, or rather Liza and my old shoes.
They came out pretty well, I think:
I have the high-tops and Liza has the low tops.
Yesterday after my eyebrow appointment and bang cut, Greg drove over and he and I walked to La Fogata for lunch. He and I needed some time to talk about things, since he's having a hard time with his year and four month relationship, and I'm his friend so I help him with these things. It was a very enjoyable experience and I'd like to do it more often. Then I babysat for 2 hours. That night I went to a cast reunion from the Forum cast, since I was in it and such. It was a nice attempt to bring us together and I appreciate it. Although it was nice, I think the best part of the night was going to California Chicken Cafe before the party with Alexis, Amy, Lauren, and Jesse, and then to Humphrey Yogart's for dessert with Jesse and Amy after the party. Amy was flippin out because she never stayed out that late before and it was interesting cause I don't remember ever being like that. After Jesse and I dropped off Amy, we thought my parents weren't home so he parked by my house and we just talked for 45 minutes until I realized my parental units were probably home. But it was really interesting talking to Jesse. Jesse's a Republican and compared to my Cleveland-based biases and left-wing Liberalism, he held his opinions well and it gave me new intuitive seeing things from his persepective. His politics aren't alot different than mine, other than I find Bush to be an idiot, and he embraces Bush's judgements.
This morning I woke up and showered, and came into my room to find a dead bird. I couldn't determine if this was a sign that today would be a good day or a bad day, but considering I got my period, today doesn't compare well to others, although I can't label today as bad. I do need to finish my homework and study for math and Coleman since those are the grades I am worried about. I also really need to drive since I haven't driven for nearly a month and have a total of 5 hours since I got my permit on February 4th.
I made my background the painting Saturn Eating his Children by Francisco Goya, who is Spanish, not German. This was Coleman inspired. I'm really going to miss his class. I think I'm going to invite him to my house one day. I think he'll be weirded out, but then again he may not be as surpirsed on account of he has noted my randomness before and has professed his love to me in front of the class.
Amongst other things, with my long swimming hours, Hebrew High business, homework, and such, I am proud to say I still find time to talk to Evan alot. Cause I love Evan like that. I love Evan a whole lot. I can't wait for him to come home to visit on the 25th through the weekend, and then summer vacation, which isn't as long of a wait as usual.
And hence is my life, as of now. Aren't you glad I lj-cutted it?
