I just signed up for NaNoWriMo and for some reason am really giddily excited and scared about it. I have an idea in my head of something I want to write, but I'm not actually a "writer" so we'll have to see how it goes. Plus, my job ends on November 9th, so what else do I have to do with my time? To Leash or Not to Leash
I still remember the first time I saw a child on a leash. I was at the Viewmont Mall at the Bavarian Pretzel stand when I saw the boy straining against his harness, dragging a harried looking mother behind him. One of Lilian's past lives
In one of her past lives, I'm pretty sure Lilian must have been royalty of some sort. Sometimes, during one of her meals, she refuses to take a bite of anything until she first feeds me a piece. She gets much glee out of this practice, though I can only assume she's making sure the food is safe before she consumes it. -

I am a bad mother. I somehow did not document anywhere when Lilian said her first word or when she gave up crawling all together and focused on walking. I have the date of her first step and then when she took 7 steps, but not when she became an full-fledged walker. -

My SIL just sent me some pics of the renovations at the lakehouse and holy crap it's looking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
