Not My Dress - Week 4
Allover beaded metallic lace trumpet with V-neck halter.
This week, I'm taking a different spin on this. I actually think this dress is quite pretty, so instead of being completely snarky, I'll be practical and just plain honest.
Reasons this is Not My Dress:
- my mom has commented that halter tops create optical illusions where my shoulders are concerned
- I've got hips (obviously), and this trumpet style line would simply accentuate them too much for my comfort
- along those lines, I tried on a similar dress that fit more snugly in the hips and it liked to bunch, requiring lots of pulls to keep the under-layer smooth
Also, since this isn't a friends-locked post, I'm going to be posting a second entry that will include other life details. :)
