Of course I'm going to vote for the one I thought was the worst before. ;-) Sorry if that doesn't help your tie-breaker. He he... XD

My eyes bugged out too. Seriously. And that bow looks like it's trying to strangle her. Not what I'd call a good beginning to your new life together. *eye-roll*

And seriously - Smor and I saw a picture of this wedding gown over the weekend, and we thought it'd be a serious runner-up for your 'Not-My-Gown' entry. XD

It might! It will be interesting to see what voters of other dresses go for this time around. They could decide the matter!

Oh my gourd. If she were any shinier, she'd be dressed in a combo of aluminum foil and that plastic stuff they put around Easter baskets....or....maybe a bunch of mirrors. The head piece is even worse than the dress, which is saying something!!

Wait, am I voting for a dress or NOT for a dress? In that case I switch my vote to week five.

He he... To give you a little background, these entries all started when I mentioned that I'd found my wedding dress. Everyone wanted to know what it was, what it looked like, but I didn't want it to be general knowledge. So, instead, I started picking dresses that I just thought were awful and this turned into a weekly project. Some of them aren't so bad (it gets harder as we go to find really terrible ones), but none of them are the dress I actually did pick. :)

Thanks for voting!!

Yay for no jury duty! My group was called, but I was excused after submitting a request for it due to financial hardship (the case our group was assigned to was a homocide that would last approximately 8 weeks). While it would have been an experience sitting on the jury panel, I couldn't commit to the length of time required.

I think the beading on the dress is pretty, but the pattern that it creates makes the dress ever so slightly reminiscent of paisley wallpaper, which is not so flattering.

Goodness, eight weeks would have been a hardship to say the least!

Paisley is a very apt connection. Huh. It's funny, I don't mind beaded sometimes, but making it a main attraction of the dress just doesn't seem like my kind of thing. If there's beading just on the top or on the edge of something or at the waist, it's not so bad. I guess when it goes haywire like this, I can't help but grimace.

The beaded sections look like anchors, which would be good if you were getting married at sea, I suppose. However, I am now humming "Anchors Aweigh", which is what people would likely be doing when they saw you...which is bad.
