Not My Dress - Week 21
Inspired by Max's wolf costume, this week's NMD is the Priscilla of Boston Silk Taffeta ruffled Victorian blouse with Crystal/Platinum jeweled mermaid skirt.
Reasons this is Not My Dress
- The only thing it's lacking to really capture the essence of Max's outfit is the head wrap from this dress.
- Why are there straps coming off the back of the blouse?
- Somehow, I don't think even Queen Victoria herself would be caught with fringe along the outside edge of her Victorian blouse sleeves.

In other news, chezsimon posted about this: Apparently Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs wrote the soundtrack for the upcoming film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. I knew I liked the music from the trailer I'd seen, but I didn't put it together or notice until he said something! :D
(Runner Up: This one didn't fit in with the theme and wasn't nearly so bad (unlike last week's dresses, which could easily have been flip-flopped), but I have to laugh at it just because it looks backwards!)
