I am actively procrastinating right now. I should be working on my final paper for my Legal Research class; it's worth 25% of my total grade. Becca's started college - she's almost done with her first year. She's studying psychology with a mind on becoming some type of counsellor - 8 years of schooling, possibly as many as 12 if she goes the med school route. She's 40(something) - and just starting the path to a career, much less the career itself.

DO NOT measure your life by goals, or standards. Measure it by the journey, and anyone who tells you you're doing wrong can just get bent.

And I hear ya on the kid thing. We've talked about it too. I'm 37, Becca's a little older, and the makin' babies thing is probably not going to happen for us. Adoption's still on the table, but we're still working out whether or not it's something we should do. *shrug* Everyone has a different road to walk, and there's always crossroads.

Just don't ever think you're doing wrong when your decisions don't hurt anyone else. 'Cause you're not.
