Friday was our consultation with the fertility specialist -- We are cautiously optimistic! We liked the doctor quite a bit. He has a gentle, honest manner which we both appreciated. From looking at our medical profiles, he was able to narrow the playing field slightly, ruling our a couple of things, which is great. Believe me, the array of tests

I am excited about your fertility consult! I know I rarely comment on the baby-making subject, but that's mainly because my personal experience isn't exactly an encouraging thing to share. I can really relate to the ups and downs, though.

You know, as much as it's disappointing and frustrating, I can understand the insurance industry's reluctance to cover fertility issues. If people manage to conceive, then they have the additional costs of medical issues associated with child birth and raising. It's more money. It's a shame that that is the primary consideration.

Anyway, good luck with all the tests and overcoming whatever the issues are.
