Erg! I don't get how my parents don't understand anything about going to school? Shouldn't they be happy I want to get a better job?? Its so frustrating and discouraging. All I said was "if i get in i might just live on campus by myself" and my dad said "isn't that expensive how are you going to fund that

I think it's just from that generation. I'm sure our parents are around the same age. I think they fear expensive things like that cause they think back to how hard it was for them at that age. My parents felt that way for my sister who wants to go to school in Oregon. They just worry to much.
