heh. yeah, her ghost writer books single handily convinced me to never read another *young girl gets herself into sexy trouble* book ever ever ever again. lol, not that the real vc's were great either, but they were my dirty little secret books in highschool .:p

Even my MIL didn't like this book, and she likes ALL the books. She's a 13 year old girl in a 53 year old woman's body.

Oh, lordy, V.C. Andrews books. I stopped reading those by the time I was 14 (I think the last one I read was Dark Angel) and I'm embarrassed as hell that I used to adore the Flowers in the Attic series. My excuse is that I was 11 or 12 at the time.

Yup, i made my way through all the original series and stopped after the Ruby series, which was the first new one in... a decade or so i guess. This one could have been written by a 12 year old with a good vocabulary.
