Well, I don’t know about the rest of you, but a certain post by a certain “Owl God” has just given those of us that want to go back where we came from the most important bit of information possible.

They are not omnipotent ( Read more... )

Well, that depends, really. Are the "colored" ones not children? Merely chicks of the true masters here?

Indeed. But to leave here, we might not need to take on the "parents". It can only take one lax prison guard to allow a jail break.

I'm no where near a plan for such a thing. Still, evidence that even some of the Hibou can be taken advantage of (same as us) is nothing to sneeze at, I believe.

True enough...it seems the one called Rott is a bit of an idiot.

You may be correct...but seeing as none of us know how to properly use these "feathers", what good are they?

Very true. At the moment they'd do little for us, except granting us "wishes". And I rather doubt that sending all of us home is one they would consider. One of the things that has me curious is why they're so irritated about losing them. Do they lose the powers associated with those feathers? Can they not regenerate them?

Really, we would need to get our hands on one first, and do some serious experimentation. We have no evidence that we can use them, but also we have no evidence that we can not.

Though I doubt that kind of thing would stay under the Hibou's radar for long. Hmm..

This is true...if we can hold onto one of the feathers before returning it...might might finally understand just how their powers to alter reality work.

There is definitely hope if what you say is correct, but we have to be careful if we pursue this path. I agree when you say they aren't omnipotent, but they are powerful. We should approach with caution regardless.

I agree. My family and I have come up against some strange things in our lives, but nothing like the Hibou.

I have to admit, when I was just setting up here, the sheer variety of their abilities and powers floored me. Though intellectually I fought it, I have to admit that a creeping doubt was there for a while. What if they were gods? It was... depressing.

Caution is necessary if we follow this path. But at least now we know that there might be a path at all.

Heh. I have to be careful. I'm starting to sound like Leo.
