attention emo kids

I’m so sick of everyone complaining. Like, how is it possible that so many people I know can take how privileged they are for granted, and to so far of an extent? To the extent that they are constantly depressed over petty issues and saying, “I just want to die,” and “My life sucks…you have no idea.” Give me a fucking break. I mean, yeah, from time ( Read more... )

Here is your answer to everything... no one has experienced anything other than what they have. they think if they don't get the newest version of playstation or some shit then their life sucks. if their parents don't let them go to cancun for spring break, their life sucks. Even the underpriveleged in clarkston have it so much better than other communities. If they don't think so, then they should move to the south and go to public school their and live in the same sized house they are in now... their lives would suck. But nobody knows anything outside of their own lives. Everyone is so closed minded

yeah sometimes i want to join the peace corps or something because it would feel like i'm giving back a little bit. and when i came home from experiencing what life was like there, i think i'd appreciate my life here a lot more.

ha I liked your last post. the perfect song to sum that all um is homegrown's "i love you not". hmm look up the lyrics if you havent heard but I bet you have. I agree people shouldnt be depressed all the time because life is generally good. However everyone has emotions and when feelings get hurt i think thats where some of the songs characterized as "emo" are coming from...not that their whole life sucks, but rather just a certain relationship or something...unless theyre just whiny ass clowns like you said. And I wouldnt judge your luck chiefly on how RICH you are. I'd judge it more on things like what kind of person you are, what talents you have, and what kind of friends/relationships you have. True experiences is a big part of life and if you're rich you can have broader experiences, but the most important thing in life is people not money. Not saying that you're not lucky (i think you are) just saying..."Money can't buy you love"

oh i understand the whole "money cant buy you love" concept. i'm just speaking about people i personally know - all of them are very lucky and none of them have REAL problems to complain about. I'm not saying that if you are privileged that you can't be hurt or sad ever, because people go through real problems that come from all standards of living. I just hate the people that have it perfect as could be yet whine that it's soooo horrible. you know these people too, i guarantee it

Judging my the fact that its hard to write on napkins (hey sometimes you want to write at a restaurant for lack of paper) that would be unlikely. Besides I don't think you read a word of what I said. You need to seek some help about that anger complex.
