Love this! I'm glad Jack realised he should have taken the time to kiss Ianto goodbye at the end of that ep. *kicks idiot man* And the girls were fantastic! Brilliantly written. I have so much love for this.

Aww! thank you! i shall join you in the kicking. jack can be such a bonehead. i hate it when ianto gets put on his back burner (but if I remember correctly- he does call out for ianto first after the earthquake... have to watch it again!) i'm still working on my confidence when it comes to writing. so i really appreciate your thoughts! :D

I liked this. I've read other fics where Gwen and Ianto have a heart to heart while waiting for Jack (which in some cases lead to interesting dialogue), but I love that they're actually getting stuff done... like they're supposed to be doing.

Donna, Martha and Rose are a hoot. After reading them here, I think there needs to be a fic where they're all doing tequila shooters with The Doctor as designated driver.

But I will add, poor Sarah Jane. I'm sure she was very worried about her son, but Jack cuts in front of her in the queue for calls home.

I totally agree with you about showing the team actually working- I'm mean, it's not like Ianto would be having heart-to-hearts every other minute. there's a time and a place- and he had spider-mice and a variety of other messes to deal with.

the Doctor as the DD. Too funny.

I thought about SJ- when I was writing this- and about how she probably should have gotten to call her son first. i also thought about jack, and how he didn't seem to me to be in the thick of the celebraters as much as the others- (he and Rose barely looked at each other)- so, to me, it was possible for him to slip in and grab a few mins, before the others- especially, I'm hoping at that point he realized that he screwed up a bit. a another clueless moment for jack- but aren't they fun? ;D Thanks so much for reading and commenting. and thanks for catching my wrong word there! it's should be Proberb verse! I'm off to go fix it now *Facepalm!. i've looked at this a hundred times in the last week, and missed it somehow. I'm interested in exploring proberbs in these three fics and in the next one that's been started. I'm going to to use "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

LOL! *blush, toe digging* yeah... I've started writing again... finally. I've got a couple of TW fics- Last Words Said is the third part of something bigger. The first one is "Leave the Light On" and the Second is "Photographs and Memories." I've started working on the fourth part of the PV- it's going to be called "Overkill."

I've got a cracky little number called "Something Wicked" too... but that's really... just smut... but smut with Jack, Ianto, and some of the SPN boys...
