A theater that's shaped like a shoe is fine 'n dandy, but what about a car shaped like a shoe? Whenever I drive down to Santa Monica, it's one of my favorite quirky sightings. Some shoe repair place decided, "Hey! Let's make a shoe car!" and I'm sure it improved their business tenfold.

I just read a book called "Freak Show" about a teenage drag queen. He runs for homecoming queen and drives a giant purple heel float in the parade. It's a young adult book, but I think you would laugh and cry and be happy.
