What do you mean personal canon? This has to be canon, Sam's out of hell, it must have been exactly as written. There is no other concievable route.

Someone should email this to the writers, so they don't accidently mess up the canon. ;D

Awesome. I loved Gabriel lifting Sam from Hell and bringing him back to Earth. As far as I'm concerned this is what happened ^_^
