I just want to sleep.......

That was one helluva week.  In some ways I prefer it when all my meetings and rehearsals fall in the same week, as then I'll have another quiet week, but when it's actually going on I do often wish that my life was a little quieter.  Work is still very busy but hopefully will calm down after next week.  My desk is just a sea of paper and I don't ( Read more... )

Shame you had to cancel your party. Could you not make it another day? Although I guess dec is always a busy day.
Yay for the ipod. They are great.

We're looking at possibly the following Saturday after the carol service. Hopefully I'll fit something in somewhere. The ipod is shaping up nicely. It's just such a decision about what to put on it.

So sorry to hear about your sister in law's miscarraige Helen, how sad for you all. *big hugs* to you and your family.

Shame about the party, I am sure you could always have it early or late? You don't want to miss out of the presents! ;)

You have a quieter life, no you wouldn’t enjoy that. Hope the cold didn’t return cause you had to sit outside last Saturday watching Ipswich play poorly………… actually my team wasn’t much better.

Sorry to here about your sister-in-law’s miscarriage, such a shame, hugs to you and your family.

You definitely need to have a party to celebrate 30 years of a world with Helen in it. I know December is busy/hectic/frantic for you but treat yourself, go for it set another date.

Hope you have fun enjoying your ipod and don’t faint like I think Alex did when I replied to her journal.

Well I didn't faint Niki, though I was shocked!! I think I've found another date for the party - just a few logistics to be worked out.

Set another date for your 30 years young bash. It's one to celebrate!

Hope your cold goes soon.

Thanks Judy. Feeling better today, if only the flippin' cough would go away.

Poor you, not a good week at all. My sympathies go to to your sis-in-law and your brother, they must be devastated.
As for you and your birthday, maybe you could have a party in January, it might be something to look forward to, and you could tell everyone they have to come because you have been a star and noit had it in December, and therefore they owe you. Or you could have a virtual cyber-party with me, there must be some part of the day that our birthdays cross over!!!!
And then there's the eternal cold......yuck. I can imagine how you feel.....make sure you give it back to those who gave it to you.

And finally.....an iPod? What's one of them??? Way too technological for me, and does this mean you will be going cquiet on the trains now? Will they have to stop giving out earphones because you are LOUD?

I shall now duck, and hide behind a rather large stone.

Huggage,

C

I love the idea of a joint virtual party Cath - we may have to try that lol!!

My Ipod is a lovely small blue box (though it's almost 2-dimensional it's so slim) that will hold loads of lovely music for me to listen to. I will indeed be quiet on trains, but then I am already. It's all the others.....
