Selah...while it can be used to mean "rock" is not as common in the present-day Israeli venacular as "evan"
Selah was also, long ago, and in yiddish a way of putting closure on something. For instance, if somebody was telling a story, rather than saying "the end" they would say "selah" and that would signify that they were done and it was someone elses turn to speak. that is how I use it..
