All of the characters in the play A Doll’s House are stuck in a state of confinement that by the end of the play most of them have been unable to escape. Torvald is confined by his obligations to the bank, his wife’s love of money, and by Krogstad when he reads the letter. i do agree that Kristine is the most free out of all of them, she is the only one that relly just has to worry about herslef.

I like how Nora left her husband at the end even though she saved his life.
