new guitar
bought a new guitar today. it cost a bomb. and its a full size instead of a 3/4 but i fell in love.
means i'm more skint than usual but i'm trying not to care. its too pretty. -

pump is fixed.... my shower works.
and since last time i was here ther is a new addition to the family.
a little jack russle puppy. her name is nora sn shes fast taking over... my sister says my biological clock is ticking. -

bathroom is nearing completion. just a coat of varnish, some silicone and grout to top up and that will be it finished. now if only the pump was fixed then i could actually use my shower. :P ( Read more... ) -

Bathroom checklist
so the bathroom progressed nicely today.
we got the architrave on round the door. grout arount that. and the 2 tiles that had to be changed in the shower.
1 coat of paint on the fresh plaster in the ceiling.
and daddy sanded the ceiling. he has decided that some of it need scrapped back and polyfilled. but its on the other side of the room from the ( Read more... ) -

Just cleaned out the hamsters cage. Poor Daisy has been living in her filth for an extra week cause maxi cut my had last week, with a claw and i didnt want to expose myself to the germys. i felt bad about it but its not like she cared. shes quite happy living in her own filth. lol

woohoo. so i managed to tune my guitar. all 6 strings. it only took me 2 days of trying.
aww well its done now.

the events of today
the day stared off really well, i had a great time helping out with the Young Enterprise event at a school in Richill.
the kids were sweet, and the games were fun and manic, and we all seemed to learn something.
then i went to mums to drop off the anti alergy dog food for buddy, and had a nice chat with mum and a cuppa.
then things got less fun.

So i finally got my guitar back.
this is an instrument that i got for my 6th birthday... we wont mention how long ago that was, and i never actually learned how to use it. at first it was too big for me. .... big surprise... but i took a year of lessons when i was in high school, and i didnt get very far.
