Yesterday I started my "pay attention to food intake" thing (which is hard right now because I'm avoiding all simple sugars, dairy, caffeine, alcohol, wheat and yeast) AND went to the dojo as well.
In chinese medicine, yeast infections are caused by Damp Heat in the Lower Warmer - and the foods that are bad include anything that promotes heat or "dampness" - otherwise known as mucous or phlegm or discharge. Thus, dairy.
Yesterday was 80 crunchies and 20 pushups in a 1.5 hour class. I'm not as sore today as I thought I'd be -yay!
