So I went from having one roommate, to that roommate disappearing, and now I have a new roommate. This is really rather scary... [ The plumber shudders. ]

This all feels so familiar... with people disappearing on certain days. This polling system. This choosing of names. How can I choose a name when I don't even know the person behind the name?
