hey that's me! :) all my fashion-inspiration people are awesome- colleen lynch is the only non-famous name. she's actually one of my best friends, and you can see her on my website on the "contact art" page: here ...she's in the 3rd picture, pointing at her shirt and laughing hysterically because the paint splotches fell perfectly so the letters on the shirt spell out "sex"

Wow, I can't believe you saw this. I figured you were too famous to have time to check everyone's journals. I love your website and I loved that quote so much it was stuck in my head, especially the part about little girls so I had to post it all on my journal. It hit me cuz my niece and other little girls around here only get to dress up how their moms and dads want them to. Anyway, I will check out your friend's stuff too. And I'll keep checking out all the stuff you keep inventing...very creative. I just wish I lived down there and could model your stuff.

thanks! haha i am not famous, i'm just starting out and have only done local art shows- but hopefully one day i'll "make it" as an artist! :)
i think parents should let their kids dress how they want to. that's what mine did, and i always wore horrible clashing colors and patterns- which the other little kiddies sometimes made fun of me for, but i thought it looked good and i stubbornly refused to dress normal, even in 1st grade! i always wanted to become a famous fashion designer one day because i thought it would be funny if i was the one telling other people what they should wear. haha i haven't told that story in a long time! :)
