I read comedian Steve Martins latest memoir, and I felt terribly sad after finishing it. I can't imagine writing a memoir to be published with the intent of making people feel sorry for me. I'm trying hard not feel bad, because why the hell should I? Everyones life is sad in some regards I suppose, but why fill a book with it sometimes

It is hard to tell at times. It was really interesting how his comedy evolved though, so there were parts I did enjoy.
