What's muscatine?

Muscatine is the city in Iowa where I work. There is a grain processing company here (GPC), which produces grain alcohol from corn. Occassionally they do this during the day, and the smell covers the entire city! It kinda smells like a mix of corn flakes, vodka, and stinky socks.
