as a performer, it's a reallllly nice feeling to actually be invited to do a show.

i've been asked to be a part of two shows since my burlesque debut... and i just found out that one of these will be a regular, monthly show.

the burlesque show went super well. two of the girls asked me to work on other projects that they are starting up, so i guess i didn't suck! i had thought it'd be really creepy to have people i'm good friends with in real life come watch me, but it actually made it easier to perform somehow, hahah ( Read more... )

thanks, snowstorms. virginia doesn't know how to handle themselves in the snow. it's hilarious. apparently, snow on the SIDE of the road means everyone has to drive 10mph BELOW the speed limit.

i've been reading jack kerouac's on the road. i started it right at the beginning of last semester, but i'm awful about recreational reading during the school year... i never seem to finish "just for fun" books unless it's the summertime ( Read more... )
