How cheap is cheap? Macs (at least the newest ones) are pretty expensive. All the newest ones are exactly the same as PCs with regards to the stuff inside it (all intel processors now), just they have OSX and some things are Mac built and maintained. I'd suggest getting an intel one (either one of the newer ones or one a few generations back but still intel). They usually run anywhere from $600 (old ones) to $1500 (new ones).
