The Christmas Presents

Dec 29, 2006 22:57

Well, I promised that I'd update in a timely fashion, but I liiiiiied. So instead, I figured I'd just wait it out and update once the Christmas pressies came in (I know, how greedy of me). Anyway, on another note, I went and saw Casino Royale yesterday, and thought it was FUCKEN AWEEEESOME. I know, I know, blah blah blah, old James Bond is better. ( Read more... )

Oh yes! I remember Jolly Ranchers being launched in the UK. We got a pack of them through the letterbox with some promotional stuff. Loved them, even though they were damned sticky. My favourite was the apple one I think... or was it watermellon?

DDR is addictive. Me and Keith got addicted over summer around our exam time at uni. He found this stepmania program which is share/freeware, and we picked up a couple of mats from his relatives' kids that didn't want to play anymore. One adpater plug, and we were set.

I miss it, and want to get back to it, only problem is that I now live above someone, and I'm conscious at how it sounds like the person above me is stamping across their flat sometimes. I would sound like a herd of elephants.

Some of the DDR routines on youtube are amazing. I want to see someone do the 10 foot System of a Down routine to Cigaro at some point, looked impossible!

It's keeping me so amused right now! Even though the music can be weird and scary, I just love to dance, so I'm doing a-okay. Can't wait to throw my first DDR party *nerd*

Btw, in order to get Stepmania working with the PS2 system (I have Stepmania downloaded, and a computer right by my PS2) what sort of adaptor do I need? I'm way confused about how all that works, but I'd love to figure it out!

Lol, no we didn't use PS2, you plug it into the PC! That's how we played DDR. Then you download the dances from the internet and put them on your pc. We loaded it onto the laptop and took it back to halls for mobile DDR.

Sorry I wasn't very clear! Keith knows more about it, he found and installed it. I just played it. We started off playing it with the keyboard, which was a big cheat, before we got mats.
